Lola is still alive...
...only just. It's been hectic.
I'll start with yesterday's silly football match, where I fulfilled another one of my lifelong dreams. I know it's not Man United or Real Madrid, but I was very, very happy I finally got to watch Becks "in real life" and even better, he scored a goal! We were seated in row 19, behind one of the corners... very good seats if you consider the capacity of the stadium is 80000+. What's even better is that my ticket was only $20! Unfortunately, Sydney FC never conceded a corner on the left in the second half. :\ I was happy with the result though, 5-3 to Sydney FC! Also, it was nice to finally meet Sarah and Kayannie, although briefly and in noisy stadium conditions. :) Photos on Facebook or via email.
I've had so many essays and presentations in these past few months I haven't been playing football. Sundays (and sometimes Saturdays too) were spent at the library. My final exam was on the day after my brother's wedding. Very bad timing. I only managed to find a dress 2 weeks before the wedding. In between all that, I made a huge career-changing decision... (full story on LJ)
Damn. That's depressing. Sorry for ranting, but that's how I've really been recently.
I think I need to do a Rafa post later...just to cheer myself up a bit.
