"I know you're a big Real fan but which English side to you follow or enjoy watching? Zulfiqar Ali RN: I love to watch Manchester United. I like Cristiano Ronaldo a lot and the whole squad."
It's from the Q&A's from Rafa's blog at the Times Online website. I'm not making it up! I always knew he supported Real, but never expected him to be a United fan too. :D

I've been busy, as usual. Lots of uni work piling up and wishing I didn't have to work at the lab.
I did a 1.5 hour-long presentation last Thursday for Teaching Method (music), it was exhausting! It wasn't meant to be that long, but my demonstrations took a while and my classmates had quite a few questions, so what was meant to be a 45 minute thing became twice as long. I now have to do a written version of the presentation. This entire thing is only worth 30% of assessment...good grief!
I'm a bit behind with Epidemiology - need to fill in results and answer questions for the pracs, review my lecture notes and start on the essay (even though there's a month till the submission date). I hate essays, they're the most cruel form of assessment. And you have to be so careful with referencing and your wording, otherwise...bang! Expulsion from uni or something scary like that.
Work at the lab is boring and annoying. I've seen so many people come and go already, and I haven't even been there for a year. It's boring because it's so routine, and I'm annoyed because it's just not challenging. The training is useless, because you're told what to do, but not why it's done. The pay is shit...my credit card application didn't go through because I don't earn enough! *blushes* I can't wait to get the hell out, but there's one thing I have to find out before this happens...
I got an interview for med school again. Also at the University of Sydney. Now that I've been through the interview process (and its absurd scenario questions), I hope I can go one step further. If I still don't get in this time, I think I'll just complete my Master of Science and go on with PhD.
I've obviously been watching the US Open for the past week, and once again, Rafa has proven to be such an amazing person. I'll write more about him in another post, because there's too much of what I've seen and read in the past few days. ♥
I didn't watch Villareal v Real this weekend because it clashed with Rafa's 3rd round match. Not sure if it was ESPN. Real won 5-0! Unbelieveable! As for United v Sunderland, I was at my brother's housewarming till late and was completely buggered when I got home, and could get up to watch the match. From what I read, I don't think I missed much, yeah? I'm so excited about the Euro qualifiers and Socceroos v Argentina this weekend!
In other random news, I LOVE the NameIt Burger (now called the Backyard Burger) at McDonald's!
Whew! Such a long post. That's what happens when you don't post properly for a while.
