*waves*

Hi everyone! Yes, am still alive. Hee.

Semester one is finally over - it's been a tough semester, having to do 3 subjects and work approx. 4 days a week. Really didn't have much of a life, apart from football on Sundays (which I haven't been to since the FA Cup weekend because of assessments and bad weather) and some meetings at church. After one semester, I feel more of a scientist than a musician, but I'll continue doing the music degree, unless I miraculously get into med school next year (I applied again...).

I haven't been online as much as I wanted to even after my final exam, because we've been busy cleaning and planning the itinerary for my aunt and cousin who'll be coming to Sydney tomorrow.

What else? REAL MADRID WON LA LIGA! Ruud almost won the European Golden Shoe (one goal short!), but he got injured. And now I have to put up with Totti getting the Golden Shoe instead...ick. Yes, one year on and I'm still bitter about that penalty which led to the Socceroos' exit from the World Cup. But Ruud is the top scorer of La Liga with 25 goals, which is the same number of goals he scored when he was top scorer of the Premier League in 2003.

Also, Man. United won the Premiership this year as well - aren't my clubs awesome? LOL. Wish I could say the same for Sydney FC, who got knocked out of the AFC Champions League because they didn't have a decent striker. My focus will be on international stuff... Asian Cup and of course, omg, Becks is back in the England team and Ruud will be back for Oranje in September! I knew they'd be back! ♥

Shit, I can't stop talking about football... :P

In other sports news, I've become a fan of Rafael Nadal. I watched a few sets of the French Open in between doing my essays. Most of the world were going for Federer in the final, but I knew Rafa would win. :)

I bought Avril's new album. And I shouldn't have. I only like 4 of the songs. I'm also annoyed about the coarse language being blanked out.

Lola is a medical scientist, music teacher, hoping to be a forensic pathologist one day, Catholic, neat freak... She worships Dana Scully from The X-Files and Kay Scarpetta from Patricia Cornwell's novels. And she loves football. (background by Kess)
