The Girl with the Goalden Boot

I had half an hour between visiting Mrs. Silcock (she's made a remarkable recover from her broken hip, she can walk unaided already - keep in mind she's already 82) and getting the car back to my mum in time for her to get to work...

Bought these boots today at InSport for $55 only! I wasn't intending to get them, I wanted to get something from the Nike Tiempo range. I asked for the Ronaldinho boots, but was told the entire Ronnie range was shipped out to Liverpool this morning. *shrugs* There weren't that many Nike boots at the store, and the ones that were left were mens size 9 or 10. And then I saw these adidas ones on discount - they had kids sizes (which are cheaper, and fit my narrow feet better). They felt great when I gave them a test run in the backyard this arvo.

Mick Simmons charges $3 per letter and $15 per number - which would cost me $66 to get the above printed on my United jersey. I went to Soccer City this afternoon and asked about the printing, and it only comes to $45. Soccer City charges $40 for any name, and one number; and $45 for any name and 2 numbers. That's a saving of $21! I've placed an order for the printing, should have it done by next week.

edit: Actually...Mick Simmons would be cheaper if you're getting Rooney 8 or Evra 3 - short name + one number.
