* Tracey! Thanks for your card and letter, I got it yesterday. The shape of the card's rather interesting! ;)

* The interview today - so much of what I said was rubbish. *shakes head* I hope it was believeable rubbish... And there was too much walking. Shouldn't have worn my newish shoes. I have a nasty blister on my right heel. Yee-ouch.

Manchester United will be due a cool £700,000 should Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy finish the season Spain's top scorer.

The massive windfall is thanks to a clause in the agreement which saw the Dutchman move from United to Real in the summer.

"If Ruud is able to finish the top scorer in the Liga then we will have to find the amount that we must pay," said a Real director to Marca. "We'd be happy, though, as it would mean that he would have scored a number of around 25 goals and with that amount we would be speaking about us being close to being champions of the Liga."
