Thanks for the well wishes with the interview. I rang back the second lab this morning, and got an interview next Thursday for it. I actually want this (scientific officer) job more, because there's more for me to do and learn, and it's so much easier to get there.

Thanks also for your help with the NBA tickets, I'll tell Erikar. I hope it's not too late already, because imagine if you were in the same city as where Maura or Gillian was going doing a play, or if Manchester United or your favourite team were playing an away game, wouldn't you do everything possible to get a ticket, even if you had a "restricted view" seat? ;)

Gotta get to sleep earlier than usual, I have a lot of driving to do tomorrow. First up is Poker Day at Daniel's place (in the north-west). We're putting in about $10 each, and the winnings will be contributed to lunch. Hopefully it'll be a fine day tomorrow, because there's a park nearby Daniel's flat and I want to play a bit of football (hee!). After that, I'll be driving up further north to check out where I'll be having my interview on Monday.

You should totally see my written directions - numbered, step-by-step, with map references, street names highlighted in yellow, important bits (turn right/left, traffic lights, roundabouts) underlined in red. :P

REAL MADRID 5 - 1 ECIJA
It's all good. Ruud & Ronaldo started up front. Becks scored the first goal, Ruud scored two (one of them was a penalty), Ronaldo scored his first for the season and a non-first team guy scored the 5th goal. Wish I were in Madrid, because tickets for this match were only 3 euros! That's like, cheaper than the A-League, lol! 3 euros to see Becks and Ruud kicking ass at the Bernabeu! ♥
