Thanks for all the well wishes on the weekend, because...I got the job! (The one I went for an interview on Monday.) First, proper, real, paid job. I'll be a laboratory assistant, it's an entry-level position (i.e. shitty-pay, but paid nonetheless!). Basically, I'm a scientific secretary. Part-time. Starting Dec. 1.

So that rules out doing the forensics course in Brisbane.

I have another job interview tomorrow, it's actually the job that I want more.

Life's like that, isn't it? You either have no choice, or are presented with too many choices.
