Poker Day on Saturday was so much fun, we're doing it again this Saturday! I kicked ass...not because I'm a good bluffer though. It was probably beginner's luck. The turning point came when there were four clubs in the community cards, and each of us were going for the flush. So everyone kept raising like crazy. I was the lucky one because I had the jack and I won that HUGE pot! When we continued playing after having chicken pizza, I just went along with everyone's bets and had no tactics at all, so no one could predict what I'd be doing next. Can't say the same for Blackjack (too much thinking and maths!).

The job interview this afternoon went better than my med school interview. At least the interviewers weren't creepy or intimidating. I don't know how I went though! It'd be great if I do get the job, because it was one of those huge laboratory facilities, like the ones you see in movies. Very impressive building.

Weekend football...

OSASUNA 1 - 4 REAL MADRID
RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD. omfg. Ruud scored ALL FOUR of the goals! He'd scored a hat-trick by the end of the first half. He had five attempts at goal, he would've scored FIVE goals if one of them hadn't been ruled offside (by the slightest of margins). Ruud was just AWESOME. The Spanish media are calling him "Van Gol". *rolls eyes* I like "Van the Man" better. Hee. Looks like RM don't really need Ronaldo anymore...

ARSENAL 3 - 0 LIVERPOOL
Don't think Liverpool can win the premiership now. I don't get the hype surrounding Kuyt. He just runs around. A LOT. *shrugs* Liverpool needs Harry! I fell asleep in the second half, and apparently that's when Arsenal started playing better - damn, I missed the action!

SYDNEY FC 4 - 0 NZ KNIGHTS
Why am I never at the matches when we win? Well, we had to win, we were only playing NZ. Third on the table, but still waaaay behind Melbourne.

BLACKBURN 0 - 1 MANCHESTER UNITED
Couldn't get up for this match, I was tired from all the driving and poker during the day, and I had to play for the choir at mass the following day. Glad MU won. Poor Lucas (hamstring strain)...now he won't be playing in the match against Ghana on Wednesday.

And neither will Timmy. He was stretchered off in his match! Ligament damage or something. Out for at least 6 weeks. :(

My brother came back from Brisbane (business trip) and Becks was on the cover of the in-flight magazine. ;)
