I bought the ER Season 7 DVDs today, but you know what...I can't watch them! I can't open the stupid case! :( It's a normal DVD case, except there's this extra lock-thingy on the opening which I can't pry open. It's got outtakes and a gag reel! HELP!

I also bought a Lego set (hee!) for half price, and last season's MU jersey for $45. And Mickey/Minnie slippers. :P

Champions League Matchday 3

MANCHESTER UNITED 3 - 0 FC COPENHAGEN
I didn't watch it properly, I was so sleepy! I'm happy we won though. Was surprised to see Rooney as captain. I'm afraid that's all I have to say, I can't remember much of the match... *blushes*

STEAUA BUCHAREST 1 - 4 REAL MADRID
YES! RM were fantastic for most of the match, I hope we continue to play like this so we can beat Barca on the weekend. Raul and Ruud are now the top two all time record European goalscorers. Ruud's goal was amazing - he had his back to the goal and the goalkeeper, and he had a defender beside him, and he still chipped the ball into the goal. Very impressive. :)

Other matches: I'm glad that Liverpool and PSV won, but wish Barca had beaten Chelsea. Arsenal were a bit unlucky to have Henry's goal was disallowed.

Ruud wants Olympic spot

Striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has declared an interest in representing Holland at Beijing in 2008, according to a senior Dutch Olympic official.

The 30-year-old has not represented the national team since the World Cup after falling out with coach Marco van Basten following his substitution against Argentina.

But Charles van Commenee, Holland's chef de mission for the Olympics, revealed the Real Madrid star has made himself available to play for the Oranje at the prestigious event in two years time.

"I have told him that he is more than welcome," Van Commenee said in AD Sportwereld.

"Ruud finds the Olympics a fantastic event, he made that very clear to me."

Each country that participates in the Olympic football event, which is primarily a tournament for Under-21 players, is allowed to make use of three dispensation players who were born before January 1 1985.

And Van Nistelrooy could fall into this category.

In response to the news, Dutch Under-21 coach Foppe de Haan said "I would love to make use of Ruud. I worked with him at Heerenveen and if Ruud keeps on playing like he is doing now, we can certainly use him."

The team still need to make sure of qualification for the Olympics by finishing in the top four at next summer's European Under-21 Championship, which will be hosted by Holland.
