French and German speakers - PLEASE HELP. It's for my students' piano exams. They need to know the meaning of the titles of their pieces. What do these mean:
1) "fur Militarmusik" (German)
2) "La Chevaleresque" (French)

* LJ wouldn't let me login yesterday. :
* Spent the past few days cleaning up. As in organising, throwing out stuff, cleaning, dusting... MAJOR cleaning up operation.

* The weather was about 35ºC for two days, and went back down to about 18ºC the next day. Needless to say, I had bad headache on one of those days and spent most of the day in bed. Not fun. :(

* Went window shopping with my mum yesterday, just to get a few ideas on what to wear for my brother's wedding next August. And we still have no idea!

* The guy who usually chooses the carols/hymns for the Christmas Midnight Mass decided to be fancy this year, and rearrange everything on his oh-so-cool software. Unfortunately, he's had no training in music theory, so he has no idea how to bridge one carol to the next (he's done this medley), no idea how to modulate, doesn't understand the difference between 3/4 and 6/8 time, etc, etc. Guess who has to clean up the mess? I have to edit around 70+ pages of music in 2 weeks! *stabs*

omg We're so crap, we lost to Central Coast! Hope we do better next week, because I'm going to the match. Because we're playing Melbourne Victory. And it's Benito's last match (for now)!

WIGAN 1 - 3 MANCHESTER UNITED
We won by 3 goals to one after being 1-0 down in the whole of the first half. We did much better in the second half. So glad to see Giggsy again! Rooney was unlucky to miss that goal that hit the woodwork, it was so close! His good form is returning. Ole scored again!

LIVERPOOL 1 - 1 BLACKBURN
Yes! Go Lucas!

MIDDLESBROUGH 2 - 1 EVERTON
Both Viduka and Cahill scored!

GETAFE 1 - 0 REAL MADRID
Ugh. RM sucked this weekend. There was no cohesion, we kept losing the ball. RM played with 4 GOOD forwards (Ruud, Ronaldo, Raul, Robinho) and we still couldn't manage a goal, because of the poor service from the midfield. Ruud got a yellow card for no reason, Ronaldo got his second yellow for speaking up for Ruud. Jeez. I now know that tarjeta amrilla means yellow card in Spanish (I think). SOOO much work to do before Steaua on Tuesday.
