Quick update before my student comes...

* The interview. It went ok, I suppose. Some of the interviewers were so creepy! Not much you could prepare for, it's all common sense. Most of the questions dealt with ethical issues and scenarios. Surprisingly, none of those "What makes a good doctor?" or "Why do you want to be a doctor?" questions were asked. All that preparation for nothing. Each time I'd finished answering a question, I felt I'd left something out. I hate that. :\ So now I'll have to wait till November to find out if I get accepted or not.

* Raul's left out of the Spanish squad! So unfair. Real Madrid must be cursed or something. As for de Oranje, I think van Basten deliberately picked van Bommel (the guy who was left out in the last 2 matches along with Ruud) this time and left out Ruud because of that (see Tuesday's post) recently published article. *sigh* And well, we all know about Becks. It really is the beginning of a new era.

* I had a strange dream last night. Real Madrid beat Atletico Madrid 6-0...but the thing was that Real scored 6 goals (4 from Raul, 2 from Ruud) in the first 20 minutes, and the match was stopped to save Atletico from further embarrassment. I think it had something to do with me reading mrs_isaacs's rant about the 31-0 thing. ;)
