Only 2 matches this weekend.
READING 1 - 1 MANCHESTER UNITED MU had 80% of possession at one point, can you believe it? And they still can't beat a newly promoted team. The penalty area was so messy, but the MU guys kept going there...gees. Kieran Richardson shouldn't have started. Rooney still isn't in form. Ronaldo scored the only goal, ok, but he still loses possession cheaply instead of passing to an unmarked teammate. Gaz was unlucky to be booked for just standing there (and gave Reading the lead). Glad to see Heinze back in action, he's way better than Wes Brown. Saha, again, didn't do too much. Benfica's coming up next...learn to score some goals or be prepared for an early exit from the Champions League.
BETIS 0 - 1 REAL MADRID Maybe I'm only just getting used to Spanish football...those guys are so rough! RM was forced make substitutions each time because of injury. RM was lucky to win with Diarra's header in the 6th minute. They're still not good enough yet. Reyes, and a few others, need to stop hogging the ball. The way Emerson commits fouls is hilarious...he stands there like a brick wall and the Betis guys run into him and fall. What's even more hilarious is that BOTH Becks and Ruud were booked for diving! Patrick Vieira would've been cheering. Except I'm not sure if Becks really did dive or he was in fact fouled. As for Ruud... :P He better watch it. Isn't UEFA imposing two-match bans for diving?
