HAT-TRICK!

EVERTON 3 - 0 LIVERPOOL
Yay for Timmy Cahill! He scored the first goal. Tim Howard did a great job too. When's Harry coming back for Liverpool? Crouchie shouldn't have been subbed. I would like to see Liverpool start with Crouch and Kuyt for their next match.

ARSENAL 1 - 1 MIDDLESBROUGH
I'm beginning to think the Emirates Stadium is cursed! Can't believe Arsenal hasn't won a match yet. Credit to Mark Schwarzer for doing a fine job, couldn't blame him for not being able to stop Henry's penalty kick. Van Persie couldn't find the form he had in the Holland v. Belarus match. A rather uninteresting match...I fell asleep for most of the second half.

MANCHESTER UNITED 1 - 0 TOTTENHAM
Four out of four. Lucky. Very lucky. We're definitely missing Rooney and Scholesy. Kieran Richardson was rubbish, Park should've played more minutes. Saha is not that good. Yes, he has pace, but we need goals, mate. Ole was probably kept on the bench to keep him fresh for the midweek Champions League match.

REAL MADRID 4 - 1 LEVANTE
Ruuuuuuud! *hugs him* Ruud scored his first goals (a hat-trick!) in La Liga! My mum got so pissed off at me for making such a racket in the early hours of the morning, lol. The second goal was the best of all. Reyes was unmarked and passed the ball to Becks. Becks then passed to Ruud (the "special connection" they have was evident!) who finished beautifully to score his second for the night. A penalty was awarded to Ruud (a Levante player was pulling Ruud's shirt), but I turned away from the tv. I had this bad feeling Ruud was going to miss. And he did. That made him even more determined to score again, and he did in extra-time, to complete his hat-trick. :D

I know I've said this many times now, but van Basten really, really needs to go to hell for not selecting Ruud in the Holland squad. Kuyt has a good work ethic and has the pace, but he's not the lethal finisher Ruud is. Huntelaar is still developing and shouldn't be first-choice striker yet. As for Venegoor-what's-his-name...don't know much about him, but he can't be that good if he's a backup for Kuyt or Huntelaar.

As much as I don't want to admit this, I'm getting used to being a RM fan. For Ruud's sake, I hope they win the Champions League.
