Champions League Matchday 1

PSV 0 - 0 LIVERPOOL
Boring. Gerrard and Crouchie didn't start. Cocu was serving his suspension so he didn't play. Harry's back in Australia for treatment for his injuries. Jason Culina did alright for PSV, I suppose. But it was really boring and because kickoff time was at 4:30am, I fell asleep before the second half.

Didn't watch Barca or Chelsea, but their results were as expected.

MANCHESTER UNITED 3 - 2 CELTIC
:D Now that's football! Can't believe Venegoor of Hesselink (ha! I learnt his name!) scored the first goal. Saha played really well, shame he couldn't get the hat-trick. If he stays injury-free, United should be OK this season. Ole scored too! ? Nakamura's free-kick was unbelieveable. Rooney wasn't doing well though. Those darn suspensions. I'm sure he bounce back in no time.

LYON 2 - 0 REAL MADRID
:\ Meh. RM played like crap - terrible defence, lack of pace and creativity, etc. Carlos made many mistakes, Cannavaro did too, Raul's not in form, Casillas should try catching the ball instead of punching it or hitting it to the ground first. On the other hand, Lyon had pace, cohesion and their counter-attack was brilliant. They deserved to win. RM need to improve A LOT and SOON. I know it's a new squad and players are only getting to know each other, but still. Can't wait to see a strike force of Ruud, Ronaldo and in-form Raul. Whoa...

ARSENAL 2 - 1 HAMBURG
Taped this match, will watch it tomorrow. Another expected result. Van der Vaart didn't play though...anyone know when he'll be back?
