OMFG! WE WON!!!

Australia 3 - Japan 1

I was so worried, and had almost given up...and then we scored 3 goals in the last 8 minutes! We won FAIR AND SQUARE. The Japan goal in the first half was rather controversial. Mark Schwartzer had an elbow up his chin, and the ref missed it. There was an earlier foul on Kewell too, and the ref missed that as well. But in the end, we battled the 30+ degree heat, and made a few subs - Cahill (our version of Ruud!) and Aloisi - and whoa, suddenly we had 3 goals! Having a goal difference of 2 is so important, every goal counts.

I'll be sure to keep my eyes on the Brazil/Croatia match.
