Netherlands 0 - Argentina 0

Another 4:30am match! At least the Dutchies didn't lose or concede a goal. The defence on both teams were quite tough on each other, with few opportunities for scoring goals. Argentina came really close to scoring a few though, but thanks to some nifty goalkeeping work by van der Saar, Holland was safe. Ruud was substituted in the 56th minute, and I'm trying very hard not to be bitter about that. The commentators are putting it nicely... "van Nistelrooy's being quiet". Kuyt should have crossed the ball to Ruud or van der Vaart in the first half, but he had a go himself and the angle was too difficult for him. You could see the other players throwing their arms up in disbelief! Looking forward to the second round match against Portugal, hoping to see more of Ruud. And his Man Utd teammate C. Ronaldo.

It's the Socceroos against Croatia tomorrow, at 4:30am as well. I'm getting very nervous!

I got my Holland jersey printed! I had to go to another shop, which costed an extra $15, but it was ok because they did the printing instantly. The figurines pic didn't turn out too well. It's Ruud on the right, and Becks in the middle and on the left. :P
