A point-form update of the past week:

Friday, April 7
* I have decided to help out at a pathology lab at Homebush. I don't get paid, so I still haven't found that "real" job yet (lol), but it's good experience, and good for the resume.

Sunday, April 9
* Sent in 4 entries to the Getaway Holiday digital photo competition. I'm no expert at photography, but what if I get lucky and the judges think I deserve $25000? :P

* We had a combined rehearsal for the Easter Vigil. It was 3 hours of fun and laughter! There were printing errors, and the trumpet parts were in the wrong key... Disastrous, but hilarious!

Monday, April 10
* Shopped for birthday gifts. I ended up buying books because Borders and a "Buy 4 for the price of 3" sale. I bought a few copies of "The Lovely Bones", and I also got Patricia Cornwell's "Blow Fly" for myself - Scarpetta novels are so good, I can't put them down, until I get a backache from sitting too long! And...this arrived!
* Walked into Esprit and got a 30% voucher, which can be used along with my usual 15% members' card. I bought a sweater and another present for someone, and I saved a whopping $45!

Tuesday, April 11
* There was this disgusting, large, hairy 8-legged freak under the fireplace. I literally jumped away. It was so gross I almost barfed. What's worse, no one was at home! Needless to say, I avoided the living room for the rest of the arvo. Dad came home and got rid of it...at first, I thought it was already dead because it was scrunched up, but when dad sprayed it, it scurried across the floor! omg, I'm not going to talk about this anymore. *gags*
