Met Tash for lunch...I hadn't seen her in almost 5 years since I stopped ballet class (because of school), and I needed to meet her before she moves to London (omgjealous) in January. It was a simple lunch at the park. She actually texted me to let me know what she was wearing in case I couldn't recognise her, but in the end, neither of us had changed much in the past few years. We had a great time catching up. Turns out she went on a backpacking trip to the US & Europe, and she was in LA just about a week before I was!

Went to after-Christmas sales and ugh...so crowded. Except for 2 boxes of Christmas cards and a pair of DKNY sunglasses (half price!), there wasn't much to buy at all.

I sort of fixed up the DVD drive problem, but it's only temporary. Downloaded this thing called DVD43, which overrides the region coding differences, even though the drive is set to a particular region. I still haven't figured out why I couldn't change the coding myself even as the admin of the computer. *shrugs*

Trying to organise something for NYE countdown. I'm sick of spending New Years Day either alone or with the folks. I don't want it to be so fucking disappointing each year.
