It's the disease...

Signs and symptoms are emerging. I'm afraid to admit it, but I think I'm down with another bout of obsession again. ::shakes head:: I hope it's not too serious, and keep it under control this time. Early detection is crucial, and is possible due to previous experience. Last time, the disease took hold of my life for the past three years. I will not put my life on hold ever again, it's so not worth it.

What's different this time? I don't have the desire to hop on a plane to see/meet her in person. Nor the desire to write to her and "be her friend". That's so junior high...LOL. I don't re-watch her movies at an alarming rate. If I can't buy/watch an interview featuring her, then I won't have it. Reading a summary of it is good enough. I don't need to buy a watch because I saw it on her wrist in one photo. I won't read a book because she read it, or buy a CD of her favourite band.

Mind over matter.

She's my favourite actress, simply because she's a wonderful and very talented actress. I enjoy watching her movies and other works, and I admire her understated confidence and reserved personality. That's it. I hope to keep it at that.

(Now, imagine things had not turned out this way, and I hadn't jumped up when Abby intubated Chuck and saved his life...I'll probably be wearing ugly shorts with a beige coat. LOL.)

Lola is a medical scientist, music teacher, hoping to be a forensic pathologist one day, Catholic, neat freak... She worships Dana Scully from The X-Files and Kay Scarpetta from Patricia Cornwell's novels. And she loves football. (background by Kess)
