Leanna's 21st It was dinner at Marigold. Personally, I'm not fond of Chinese food or Chinese restaurants (the noise level is unbearable), but since Leanna and her family had been busy with her brother's wedding (which I attended, and was also at Marigold), that's what we had to settle for. Later we were too tired to do anything else (how a dinner can last for 5 hours, I have no idea LOL!), and headed over to her place. And played with her little Cookie. :D I hung around until 2am before I headed home. Her birthday celebration wasn't anything major, but I was glad to see some of the high school peeps again. (Jewels, if you ever read this: I love your name-plate necklace inspired by Carrie Bradshaw. ::winks::)

Alice's 21st Star City's Garden Buffet. The atmosphere was slightly better, and funner! (I know that's not a word, but it's from MT's vocab.) Some of the crazier of us did the prawn comp O_o. It was a good turn out too, since our "hole" group reunited hehe...and it was just LOL with all the other high school peeps again. Glad you liked the pressies, Alice! :) I was too tired for any Texas Hold'em Poker afterwards...next time, next time. Hee.

Avril Lavigne - The Bonez Tour 2005 AVRIL ROCKS!!! Her concert was so freakin' good! I had no idea what to expect, since I'd never been to a proper rock concert before. Avril sang and played the guitar, piano and drums. There were so many kiddies though LOL...and a lot of people (me included) dressed up in our rock chick garb! ::grins:: I screamed and yelled along to all the songs (except for Green Day's American Idiot cos I didn't really know it), and jumped up during sk8er boi and Complicated! I lost my voice by the end of the concert, and Hidy rescued me by walking around searching for pubs and bars. Not sure why there were so many people out on a Tuesday night. We couldn't find any pool tables. Decided to chill out at Cockle Bay instead with a nice Long Island ice tea. Kid and grown-up all in one night. ;)
