I completed a project today...sort of. I made this collage on the wall space above my desk, ads I pulled out from old magazines. It's so much more fun and interesting, compared to the lone Kit poster that used to occupy all that space. Ads from American mags are so much better than the Aust. ones - at least there are more sweaters!
I watched 3 movies yesterday. Watched Elektra with Anna at Hurstville (not bad, but too predictable). Jennifer Garner was great with her stunts. Goran Visnjic was alright and fit to the role. Loved it when he shouts "Abby!" to his character's 13 year old daughter...I must admit it was awkward at first. Hehe. And then in the evening I watched Outbreak and Selena on channel 9. Outbreak...hmm...would've been better if there was more science and less political cover-up stuff. I enjoyed Selena, but it was so sad to see her die. She was so young and had so much going for her. And then "Dreaming of You" is played in the background at the end... ::cries::
In other news. I gained 3kg! That's right, you read correctly. I now weigh 50kg! About time too! I had a hunch I was growing when I had to give away 2 pairs of jeans and a pair of boardshorts, and everything smaller than size 8. Must have been all that chocolate and pudding from Christmas!
Maura news. After Conan, I watched Maura on The View as well. I like her black velvet jacket...it's kinda cute. Apart from being able to diagnose appendicitis, she can suture! ::grins:: Also, I watched the ER episode of the season - Skin. I actually downloaded the entire episode. Usually I just wait till it's shown on channel 9, but I couldn't wait 3 months for this Emmy-worthy episode. God bless Maura and her talent. She was awesome in every scene...you have to see it to believe it. I wonder how Abby deals with the aftermath of the ordeal, and how the others react. Very emotional stuff.
