a shot in the dark

::heart:: WHEN A POLICE OFFICER IS GUNNED DOWN BY FRIENDLY FIRE, HIS CHILD MUST MAKE LIFE- ALTERING DECISIONS -- When a police officer shot during a robbery is brought to the ER, Lewis (Sherry Stringfield), Neela (Parminder Nagra) and Ray (Shane West) stabilize him, but the injuries to his carotid artery leave him in a coma. His fifteen-year-old son must decide whether to authorize a risky operation which may save his life or leave him in the coma. Abby (Maura Tierney) tries to convince a girl with appendicitis to have surgery at County General, but her father wants her transferred to Mercy because his father died during surgery at General.

I woke up in tears this morning. I was crying in my dream...we were watching some music video program on tv while cleaning the kitchen. And then Flora's It's Him/Her popped up. I went "Look! OMG...Helen & Barry from ATE (At the Threshold of an Era)!" My dad started dissing them. Really badly. And I got so upset. And really worked up. I turned the kitchen table upside down and threw the chairs across the room. Used profanity like I've never used it before. Ran to my room and cried a river.

And then I woke up, my eyes still wet. That's just plain weird. So I got out of bed and dug out Flora's debut album. I still have it. It's been collecting dust for 4 years. I'm surprised I still remember the lyrics to quite a few of the songs, including It's Him/Her, Even if I Did Wrong, and Clear Cut. I have an impeccable memory, huh? LOL.

Some things can't be explained. ::shrugs::
