five golden rings

I think I need to join a "can't wrap for crap" club, if there exists such a club. Because I simply can't wrap for crap! I mean it. You already know I can't cut straight. And I use too much tape. Too many creases/crinkles in the paper. The ribbon is uneven. eeks.

Received my first 2 cards of the year - thanks Alda & my dear blurcat! :)

I've been watching Australia's Brainiest Kid these days. I like quiz/trivia shows (like Millionaire)! I was going for this girl who wanted to be an actress when she grew up, wants to visit LA the most, and her special topic was US Landmarks. Hee...she gets bonus points from me! And she won a spot in the finals! While watching this program, I realised how much knowledge a person can gain in 8 years, and how important high school really is, whether we like it or not.

I've started reading again too...haha! Shakespeare's Macbeth (that's correct...I'm reading Shakespeare by choice) and Deadly Decisions by Kathy Reichs.

Lola is a medical scientist, music teacher, hoping to be a forensic pathologist one day, Catholic, neat freak... She worships Dana Scully from The X-Files and Kay Scarpetta from Patricia Cornwell's novels. And she loves football. (background by Kess)
