the calm after the storm

Yesterday...whoa! 3 storms in one day. Hailstones, followed by an almost cyclone-like storm, followed by more torrential rain. The top of the car port turned into a waterfall. The roof was leaking...gahhh! The street was like a river. Spent my entire afternoon closing windows and all that.

And today. Sunny day. Blue skies. Slight breeze. The washing's out the back. As if yesterday never happened.

Yikes. I had a dream last night that I was pregnant. With Luka's baby. OMG. And that I didn't let him know. I dashed to the County General 8 months pregnant, avoiding any of the ER staff, ran to the elevator, kept pressing the button so the doors would close, but they just wouldn't! And then someone slipped in - Dr. Coburn. It was the OB doc. So we went up to the 8th floor and well, I had the baby. Which is totally weird as I didn't have contractions or anything ::shrugs:: And then I gave the baby away for adoption. As I was leaving the hospital, I saw Luka, and talked to him as if nothing happened. And asked him to teach me how to speak Croatian.

Ugh. These Luka dreams are getting more and more spooky.

Back to reality.

Downloaded almost 100 brush sets for Photoshop! Teeheehee...learning how to make pweetty avatars. And trying to design Christmas cards. ::sigh:: Designing. It's just not for me. I can't do it. I can now use the software, but I have zilch designs in mind. :T

I'm hoping dad remembers to bring me back my Kino discount vouchers. And I hope we'll be heading to the special invite tomorrow night at Kino. That's right - an invite to this exclusive event at Kino tomorrow night, because Kino is dad's client. Don't you wish you were here? LOL. :D
