load off my shoulders

I tell a lot of my friends not to keep all the unhappiness inside of them and let it out. There's something which has been buggering me for a while, and I haven't really talked about it, and I've kept it inside of me. I'm such a hypocrite. (Abby says that we're all hypocrites, which makes me feel better.) Anyways. Didn't really know where to start, I guess. Until last week, when we had a "let it out" session at the Maura board. And today I had a nice long chat with Pamela over lunch at Oporto's. It felt much better to know that there are people out there who understand where I'm coming from, and agree that my actions weren't incorrect. And that there are some things I certainly should not have to deal with. And that "the silent treatment" is given by wimps. Ash suggested I needn't put up with that, and that I move on with life. Pam shared with me her experience with her flatmate.

It really felt better to let somebody know than to keep it inside. That's the moral of the story, dudes. Let it out before you can't deal with it. Before the volcano erupts.

Onto more cheerful stuff. Last med science lecture EVER! OMG...I'm almost done! 4 exams to go! Whoopee! I can't really believe it. These 3 years flew past with the blink of an eye. Have I learnt anything after 6 semesters and 12K? I think so (I hope so!) - I proved one of these chain-email things wrong last week with my scientific (uh...and ER) knowledge of cancer, carcinogens, blunt force traumas and tumours. Hehe...I'm such a nerd.
