the fat gene
I saw my lecturer (Prof. David James from the Garvan Institute) on the news 3 times today. ::wooks:: He and fellow researchers discovered the gene which encodes for obesity.
I had a day off today, which was nice. And warm. Apart from the 10 min storm. Gaahhh. Not a good laundry day. I cleared up the clutter on my desks and organised my notes into 4 stacks, ready for studying. I put all the Play With Me Sesame segments from the past 2 months into one tape. In the course of tidying up, I realised I had not read a single one of Patricia Cornwell's Scarpetta novels in two years. I really miss them. ::sigh:: I'm two novels behind already. :(
Off to watch Primary Colors. US presidential election fever...hehe.
