ballerina abbytina (part 3)

Haha, this just goes on and on! It just makes me that much happier knowing that she was a dancer! Here's the exact interview (courtesy of
C&P):

Q: When did you first want to become an actor?
Maura: I started acting in high school, but you know what? I studied dance, I took dance lessons for a long time and that's sort of what I always thought I wanted to do until I got into college and I realized that I just was not good enough, so it wasn't something I was going to be able to do. I started too late. So I sort of switched from dance to drama. I mean, I'd always done theatre but you know, really what I always wanted to be was a dancer. So I sort of switched over to really thinking about this when I was about 19 or 20.
Q: What kind of dance did you do?
Maura: I wanted to do, you know, like Broadway-type dancing. Bob Fosse-type stuff. I certainly could never have been a ballerina, 'cause I'm way too short, I just don't have the body for it.

Awwww...she wanted to do Broadway! Now, here's a nice little dream for me. Both Maura and Kit should be in a Broadway play together when I eventually take my dream trip to NYC. How lovely would that be!!! ::feeling all fuzzy:: :)
