Update (and random thoughts)

Slept at 9/10pm for the past few nights. Which is more sleep than I really have time for.

There was an evacuation at the library, where the lady over the PA system emphasised: "This is not a drill! This is not a drill!"

A fellow parishoner/friend has a brain tumor, and will be operated on later in the month. You must realise he and his wife just had a daughter about 8 months ago.

The day before the MCB exam, I was helping my friend with the practise questions, but the next day, after the exam, she came out confidently while I didn't even finish the exam. How much does that suck?

I finally finished watching the ER and Newsradio tapes and returned them to Rod (in Perth).

There was a hailstorm last Sunday. The largest hailstones I've seen in my life, although technically the stones weren't big enough for the hailstorm to be considered an emergency situation. The grass and the road were covered with a thick white blanket, the closest thing to snow I guess.

Realised life isn't about pleasing people, so I ain't gonna write about nice things about people all the time even if they suck. IMO, it's better to be honest. So you "passer-by's" who decide to drop nasty comments in my blog, please continue to do so.

Had one weird dream the night before (and told Jo about it), that HH3 is really ER set in the HH2 hospital, with ER main characters (like Abby and Susan), but with HH2 "extras". Probably because TVB ran out of ideas...

Had a crazy dream last night about dating Luka (yes, Luka the fictional character, NOT Goran Visnjic) and can still remember that feeling of snogging him in this dimly-lit room...hmm...like what the heck? The dream was so real, I swear I still remember the feeling of his lips against mine even as I'm typing this. Though it was nice to be dreaming about snogging a tall, dark, handsome and mysterious man. LOL.

Decided not to do honours next year because my heart said so. I didn't want to do it as a "might as well" thing. Hardcore research isn't for me. Still wondering what to do next year. I really want to do my major trip to LA next year, and there's talk about a LA Carby Convention sometime soon, as many people around the world want to do the WB VIP tour, obviously before ER ends. In the meantime, perhaps I could teach full time?

I've already started singing Christmas carols. I really want Christmas to come. Like really.

Lola is a medical scientist, music teacher, hoping to be a forensic pathologist one day, Catholic, neat freak... She worships Dana Scully from The X-Files and Kay Scarpetta from Patricia Cornwell's novels. And she loves football. (background by Kess)
