Bed, desk, computer, piano, closet, shelves, heater, tubs of my collections (Kit things, Maura tapes and DVDs, CDs, music books etc.), photos, posters...etc.
42. Favourite thing to do before bedtime?
Watch some sort of tv, it could be an old episode of ER, Late Show with David Letterman, the news, anything really...
43. What is the one thing that you regret in life?
Spending $400 on Kit's first ever album, which by the way is 2nd hand. Because I don't listen to it much, it's not my favourite album, and around 6 months later I don't give a rat's ass whether I own it or not because it really doesn't make that much of a difference.
Another major regret is the July trip. Yes, it's lovely to hang out with great friends, and yes I loved the shopping. However, if I could help it, I wouldn't have continued with the trip because the show was cancelled. And of course, I continued with the trip (well, I don't think I could've gotten a full refund) believing that I and the other gals were important enough for that special someone to take, you know, just 5 minutes off the set just to say hello since we spent our life savings flying over. I'm not asking for much, just a wave and a smile to acknowledge our presence is enough. (I'm totally going to get attacked for posting this, but hey, you are reading MY journal, riiiiight?) That's $1000+ I could've put into my US/Can fund. What ticks me off a little more is that she gets to go to the US, she probably might get a white Christmas...and you know what that makes? She's living the dreams I'm supposed to be living. MY childhood dreams. ::sigh::
Mother's always right. :)
The funny thing is, if I didn't like Dorothy and hadn't found out about Kit, I would have travelled to the US already. Of course I would have known a lot less about the world, and wouldn't have met all of you wounderful pals...but I would have fulfilled my childhood dreams already. But no, I don't regret getting to know Kit, because she really is one of the sweetest people I've ever met in my life.
I don't know what's with me lately. I just feel out of touch with her. :(
44. If you are reincarnated, you would like to be reborned as...?
An Asian American, instead of Asian Australian. With brunette hair.
45. What is one thing you are grateful for today?
That I'm loved and am treated almost like a princess at home, and I have the opportunity to fulfill my dreams and pursue my ambitions, and that there are people in the world who care for me and understand me, even though I am a grade A bitch. Believe me, I'm trying to get the bitchiness out of my system, but it isn't so easy. Especially in a society where crime and feral people dominate. ::sigh::
Anyways...I made my first ever desktop wallpaper with Photoshop! (click image for bigger version)
And yesterday was a fun night out with the high school peeps, celebrating Mary's 21st. We gave a surprise birthday dinner party at Pancakes on the Rocks. The food was good, apart from the worm I saw in the strawberries (yes, alive and squirming!). It was nice catching up with Alice at Starbucks before the dinner, since we were 2 hrs early (we had to buy the cake and get it to Pancakes earlier). :)
