WNYX

I've started myself a new sitcom - Newsradio! It's not new as in it's a new tv show, but it's new as in I've never seen it before. Newsradio is a sitcom, set in New York, a radio station called WNYX. It's the crazy and funny kind of show, sort of like Just Shoot Me or similar shows in an media office setting. Newsradio was shown on NBC in 1995-99, has never been shown on free-to-air tv in Aust, but it was recently shown on the Comedy Channel on pay tv. (Thanks so much to Rod for your videos - I promise I won't pee on them! LOL)

When I show you screencaps, you'll know why I'm watching Newsradio. However...I think even if I hadn't watched ER or liked Abby or Maura, Lisa Miller (the character Maura plays in Newsradio) would still have been my favourite character, simply because I've always loved strong and capable female characters (e.g. "Dr. Lip" - Flora in Untraceable Evidence). Oh yeah, strong and capable female characters with that hairstyle (i.e. dark, straight, shoulder length hair). It's been my favourite hairstyle since 1998!
