I was staring at the tv, munching on my dinner when my mum came home from work. She said to me, "Your chen jie yi, she came no. 2 on some dunno-what chart, I think it's something recent. I caught a glimpse of it on TVBJ while at work..." I nearly choked on my rice...and asked, "Recent? Are you sure? Is it dong de? Does Kit have long wavy hair and is she wearing a white top?" Mother replied, "Aiyah, I was concentrating on my work...I just heard her name mentioned on tv. At first I thought it was another chan kit yee, but then the song was dong de, so it must be your chan kit yee..."

So then I checked the TVB JSG charts...not there. Then I went to TVB8 chart...bingo! Kit was no. 2 on the TVB8 chart! I was so proud to see her name there! I think no. 2 is the highest ranking for dong de on any chart throughout the different regions! However, it's not getting onto the various charts that is important. It's not like she hasn't done that before. What's special this time is that she wrote the tune and lyrics herself this time - something that came right from her heart - which is why I'm so proud of her.

Way to go, Kit!
