The Girl with the Goalden Boot

Before I type further, I must emphasize that this is only a dream...

People present: me, Cat, Hat, Kelly, Kit, Stephie, Ting, Uncle Bear Bear
Location: an imaginary shopping mall in Singapore

At first, all of us Kitcattens were at Esprit. I was at the counter paying for this red top I bought, and then a guy comes along and asks the salesgirl, “I’d like to have the whole box please.” (Whole box — a box set of the same piece of clothing in all its available colours.) Then Ting pointed out, “Hey, that’s Kit’s boyfriend…” All of us looked around the store, and indeed, Kit was there! Cat mumbled to me, “rich people (in Mandarin) mah, can afford the whole box…” I paid for my top, and the bunch of us headed for the supermarket, and Kit and Uncle Bear Bear went elsewhere.

Later at the supermarket, I have no idea why we were looking at fruit? And then, we saw Kit again! This time, Ting the naughty gorilla was being mean to Kit (haha!), “hmm…perhaps you can buy the whole box of oranges, or the box of apples!” Kit must have felt embarrassed and she and Uncle Bear Bear went in another direction.

I needed to go to the toilet. Don’t ask me why this particular supermarket has a washroom. It was urgent, so I stormed into the cubicle. I thought I caught a glimpse of someone applying make-up, but I wasn’t sure. I got out of the cubicle and went to the basin to wash my hands. I turned my head only to find it was Kit who was applying make-up! I just smiled. :)

What happened next was frightening. Kit started feeling sick, and was about to vomit. I got really scared. I went to her and asked her how she was and if everything was ok (obviously not…). And then I saw it. Kit was pregnant…OMG… She was confused. Kit said she really wanted to finish all the shows of Forbidden City, but because she played such a big part in the musical, it wasn’t very convenient at a time like this. Then I gave her a hug…and OMG…both of us started crying… I understood how much she loved Yehenara and being involved with Forbidden City, but yet, she had to take care of herself too.

I told her, “Now you have a real Tung Chih, you must look after him and take care of yourself. I know how much you really love to be in Forbidden City, but it’s also very important to stay healthy right now. You don’t have to play an empress; you are already our Empress…” We hugged each other, still sort of sobbing… What a drama, in a public toilet too. Plus the fact that everyone knows who Kit is…

We eventually washed our faces and groomed ourselves. We exited the washroom to find a mini-crowd had formed. (I think you guys thought I got lost or something, until a lady saw the incident in the washroom, and word spread…)

Finally we bought the fruit, and I realised I only had Aust. dollars in my wallet, so Kelly had to pay for me. Kit was at the next cashier. We smiled at each other…

And then my alarm clock woke me up. :T (damn, I wonder what happened after we left the supermarket!)
