A new day brings new hope...
I should be watching Forbidden City on the 5th! :) Ticket booked already (thanks Ting!) I really hope everything works out according to plan. I'm soooo excited! And now I'm really motivated to mug, and know when to switch off the computer, hehe! I've written out a plan already, and I can't wait to put it into action. Watching Kit's performance has been one of my dreams for the past 2.5 years.
One thing I've noticed is that this time round, the promotions for Forbidden City are so much more focused on Kit. I remember last year it was more like, "oh, it's a collaboration between local composer Dick Lee and London's etc. etc....." and stuff like "so-and-so from England and so-and-so from another country"... This time, it's more like "starring dynamic Singapore singer/actress KIT CHAN" and even the ads the promoters have decided to use Kit's picture instead of just the words "Forbidden City". Maybe it's because they didn't expect Kit to be so great (hehe...) or they were expecting the international collaborations to be the star attraction. Well, well, well, now they know why people want to watch Forbidden City and who initiated the overwhelming response!
