Finished 3 mid-sem exams! *sigh of relief*
Might (I emphasize, MIGHT) be able to watch Forbidden City after all! *screams* I'm being a good girl and always bringing food from home to eat, and haven't been shopping for 3 weeks! There were even days I didn't turn on the computer at all! Talk about self-control! I'd do anything to watch Kit perform!
A return air ticket to Singapore flying Singapore Airlines costs $400 right now! I'm so tempted to just go!!! Hehehe... It's even more tempting because I go past the airport everyday on the train on my way to class... *grins* But I wonder how much it'll cost by the end of Sept? Just checked out Stephie's Kit website and saw Kit on yet another in-flight magazine! Haha, I remember Ting stole the Jan 2003 one cos Dreamscape was in it, I stole the Feb one cos of Dreamscape as well, and now someone else stole the March one cos a Kit article is in it! Cool huh? :P
According to the news, the number of cases of SARS in Singapore and Toronto have peaked. Thank God. Taiwan has tough measures of controlling the spread of SARS, and Tanya has to be quarantined for 10 days before she can start doing stuff for her new album. Because of this virus, I'm more motivated with my studies, and am glad I chose to major in microbiology.
We were learning about the heart and the cardiovascular system in anatomy and physiology this week. In one of the activities, we were provided with stethoscopes and other equipment to check our heartbeat and BP. I was wearing my lab coat, took out a pair of latex gloves, and hung the stethoscope around my neck...then Christina and Akie were like, "whoa, you look good!" Haha! Too bad I didn't have my digicam with me! So this week, I dissected a sheep's heart and looked at 6 human hearts. I remember the first sheep's heart I dissected was way back in year 9 (1998), when I was 14. Those were the early days of Healing Hands 1, and ever since then, I knew I wanted to do medical science. It's been a while since those days, and here I am, in second year medical science with a new favourite doctor! I remember last year I had doubts about doing medical science, whether I was doing the degree because of TV shows or because I really had an interest in science. Those doubts have cleared now, and I can't imagine myself doing any other degree.
Enough of the internet for now.
