Some things have happened during the week that brought back really beautiful memories.

Just now, I was labelling my anatomy diagrams and reading the textbook etc. and I had Dazzling playing in the background. I remember over 2 years ago, back in Jan 2001, before I knew about KCC, before I even understood Mandarin, I was listening to Dazzling while working on my 3 Unit Maths problems, before year 12 started. I had just finished watching Healing Hands 2, and fell in love with Dorothy. I searched every single Chinese CD store in Sydney to look for Kit's albums, and one Sunday, I came home with Cornered and Dazzling. Who would have thought that 2 years later, I'd still be doing my work with Dazzling playing in the background, and who would've thought that I'd get to know Kit as a person, and not just some voice recorded on CDs?

During the week, I received a surprise email from this gal called Joanna, from Vancouver, Canada. She'd just finished watching Healing Hands 2 herself, and fell in love with Dorothy too, despite a long-time Flora fan since Untraceable Evidence. She came across my website by typing "Kit Chan" on Google, and read about my experiences as a Kitcatten. She was simply amazed... And now we're chatting on ICQ. She told me straight after watching HH2, she went out to Vancouver's Chinese music stores and bought Numbness and Dreamscape...too bad that's all she could find. So she asked her cousin in HK to look for other albums. So on Friday, I went to Kinokuniya and bought Cork Out of My Head for her, since they don't have Kino in Canada, and that's probably the only Kit thing I can find in Sydney. She was so so happy on ICQ that evening when I told her. Read her blog!

Joanna is like a reflection of myself 2 years ago. I remember I first met Ting through ICQ in March 2001, and then we started chatting about absolutely anything, hehe! And not long after, Ting started sending me these "surprise" parcels of Kit's albums and books and VCD and then everything with Kit's face on it! :P I was so so crazy about Dorothy initially, because that was my first impression of Kit. I had memorised the scene in episode 16 where Dorothy talks to Coffee-man! Even when I first talked to Kit, I told her that I really liked Dorothy! Joanna will soon learn more about Kit, beyond Dorothy. Because knowing Kit as Dorothy only is very very limited. *winks* I'm very happy that by sharing my own experiences with Kit, I'm able to get to know another friend, and spread the news of Kit. She will soon be joining KCC International (yay! Population growth for the endangered species – International Kitcattens!)

May my Dreams & Memories become someone else's Dreams & Memories too. So fellow Kitcattens, continue the tradition and continue to spread the good news, yeah? :)
