Since I'm gonna have another sleepless night because I have to write an essay, I thought this poem (no, not written by me, as if!) was quite apt...
I Write A Page
With each page that I turn
I'm tightening a screw
I'm telling a story
I'm tearing off my face
With each verse that I write
I'm pushing the brakes
I'm unveiling a tale
I'm feeling more pain
With each line that I write
I'm pulling the reins
I'm telling a lie
I'm seeing some red
With each word that I carve
I'm breaking the grave
I'm telling a truth
I'm seeing a scar
With each scar that is healing
I'm seeing the light
I'm feeling alright
I can sleep at night
